Changes I’ve Made Since Taking The LadyBossBlogger Course
It's been a few weeks since I completed the LadyBossBlogger ‘How To Make Money As An Instagram Influencer’ course and I’ve started putting some things I’ve learnt into action.
1. Pitching Brands
The course has given me the confidence to pitch to brands that I was previously scared to do. The course has helped me to learn what exactly to say when pitching and how to tailor the email to specific brands. It's given me a lot more confidence in the influencer industry.
2. Creating a Media Kit
Another thing that I'm currently doing to improve my Instagram is creating a media kit. This is something I'd only heard of a few times but I had no idea what it actually was. The course has shown me what exactly to put in my media kit as well as showing an example from Elaine Rau (the founder of LadyBossBlogger).
All the examples have really helped me throughout the course. I have started creating a media kit since completing the course and I'm excited to send it to brands and hopefully work with some who I absolutely love.
3. Confidence In Pitching
Speaking of brands, I have now written a list of brands that I want to pitch to. This includes big brands as well as smaller brands. I never would have had the confidence to pitch to any brands before I did the course but I’m excited to do that.
4. Packages + Rates
I am also currently coming up with rates and packages which I can use when I want to work with a brand. I think it's important to come up with a set base rate that you can negotiate when pitching to brands.
Making money was the main reason I chose this course to complete and all the points I’ve mentioned so far have helped me get started and will help me a lot more in the future.
5. Buy Your Domain Name
In terms of my blog, there is also some stuff that I’ve learnt and am going to put into practise over the next couple of weeks.
The first one is to actually buy my domain name. I've been wanting to do this but never have. The course has shown me how important owning my blog actually is, rather than hosting it on a website which is what I do now.
When I buy my domain, I can also get my blog search engine optimised (SEO) which will help with traffic to my blog and help me make money from that as well as my Instagram.
6. Be Consistent
I also aim to be more consistent with blog posts and make use of Pinterest. I’m also going to think about creating an email list that will really help get people to read my blog.
Overall, this course has been incredibly helpful for me and I really think all the things I've learnt will help me make money from my Instagram and blog. I think I will have amazing results from doing the course.
I know this as confidence in my blog and Instagram has already been a result I’ve got from this course. I think this is the most important result as it means I believe I can actually do it, rather than being too scared.
